CDC updates notices, State Department tells Americans not to go abroad

The Centers for Disorder Regulate and Prevention has updated their Journey Well being Notices as the novel coronavirus continues its continuous march across the globe.

On Monday, the group encouraged Americans to prevent all nonessential travel to Chile, Pakistan, Thailand and Turkey, in addition to Saturday’s recommendation from nonessential journey to Australia, Brazil, Canada, Japan and Israel.

In addition, the CDC recommends all travelers returning from these international locations stay home for 14 times, check their well being and practice social distancing.

The CDC’s update comes four days following the Point out Division instructed Americans not to journey abroad at all.

On March 19, the Point out Section issued a Amount 4 advisory for vacation abroad – “do not travel” – only four days immediately after it issued a Stage 3 advisory that urged Americans to “reconsider travel.”
